Fano fourfold literature

an overview of the literature listing Fano fourfolds

This site is an overview of the literature that lists Fano fourfolds: the classifications, enumerations and structural results collected in 4Fanos-literature.tex. It is a comparison resource that catalogues what each source contains and which invariants it reports. It is kept separate from the FanoBase classification of zero-loci fourfolds and does not (yet) match entries against that corpus.

Referencing scheme

Each source has a short code of our own: author initials plus two-digit year, with a trailing a/b to break same-author-year ties. Examples: HLM22 (Hausen–Laface–Mauz 2022), Bat99 (Batyrev 1999), SW90a/SW90b (two Szurek–Wiśniewski 1990 papers). This code is independent of any BibTeX key.

An individual family inside a list is referenced CODE:native-id, where native-id is the paper’s own label for that entry (for example Kal19:F4.12, Kuc95:(d), Bat99:99, HLM22:37). We reuse each source’s internal numbering rather than imposing a new one. ZeroLocus62, the FanoBase-internal identifier, is not used here, since it does not apply to lists built by other constructions.

Bibliographic data uses MathSciNet MR identifiers (arXiv as fallback), formatted with Citation.js.
